Parish Gathering St Mary's
📅 17 October 2026 | 🏛️ St Mary's Catholic Church, Palmerston North
Date: Saturday, 17th October Venue: Queen Elizabeth College Time: Doors open at 4 PM. Tickets: Adults $25.00 and Children $15.00 (5-12years); Under 5s are free. Dinner: One main course + dessert - Bottled water provided. Meals: Kiwi, Filipino and Indian options- will advise menu details at a later date. We have 300 tickets – we would like tickets to be bought at least a week in advance. Please contact the office if you are interested in purchasing a ticket.

CITY WIDE ADORATION-Cathedral of the Holy Spirit- 12 Hours with the Lord. Friday October 9th – 7pm (after Mass) until Saturday October 10th -8.45am (before 9am Mass). Come and spend an hour with the Lord – all parishioners are warmly invited. We encourage individuals and groups to sign up on the roster (this will be displayed on the notice board at each North). Pick a time that suits you. Whatever you are carrying in your heart come along and bring it to Jesus. Let us encounter and adore the Lord. “Do you realize that Jesus is there in the tabernacle expressly for you – for you alone? He burns with the desire to come into your heart” -St Therese of Lisieux.
Social Justice Meeting - St Mary's Parish Hall

Social justice week reminds us that we all truly belong to God. To understand how we can reflect God in our individual and social relationships, Ian and Josephine are taking the next reflection on Thursday 24th September here at St Mary’s (in the hall meeting room 5.15-615 pm). Open to all parishioners in Palmerston North. Please come along for fellowship and reflection. Let’s explore the intersectionality of our faith, identity and wider society.
