As part of our ongoing commitment to improving St Mary's Parish, we are launching a series of fundraising initiatives to help fund several important projects, including new projector, improved heating, and security upgrades for our church and surrounding premises. KNOWN & CALLED: A Womenโs Discernment Retreat

Young women aged 18โ35 are invited to Known & Called, a weekend retreat with the Missionaries of Godโs Love Sisters from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 August 2026 in Palmerston North. Through prayer, encounter and fellowship, participants will be supported to listen more deeply to Godโs voice and discern His call in every aspect of life. This retreat is not only for those discerning religious life, but for any young woman seeking greater clarity about who God has created and called her to be. Registrations open 15 July 2026.

On July 2, 2026, peacefully at Elderslea Rest Home, Upper Hutt, aged 97 years. Loved Sister of Nga Whaea Atawhai o Aotearoa, Sisters of Mercy New Zealand. Dearly loved daughter of Eileen and Ian Manson. Treasured sister of Margaret and Brian (all deceased). A special sister-in-law to Marie Manson, and a much loved Aunt to her nieces and nephews.
